Who can resist travel in Italy? Great food, vistas and beauty everywhere you look. Any combination of Italian destinations is possible, trips we have done include the following regions: Italian Rivera including Cinque Terre and Portofino, Tuscany, Rome and Naples, Venice. A typical itinerary for the Amalfi Coast is listed below.

This is just a sample itenerary and only one of countless possibilities!

Day 1

Land in Naples and go to the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria which was a palace built on the ruins of a Roman villa facing the Bay of Naples.

Day 2

Tour this city with Mt. Vesuvius looming in the background. Visit the restored city of Pompi.

Day 3

Private motor boat from the Bay of Naples to the Capri Island. Tour the island, relax and swim at the beach or the hotel's infinity pool looking out to the ocean - Hotel Caesar Augustus.

Day 4

Visit the village of Anacapri and tour the Villa San Michele. Relax in the marvelous sculpture gardens, shop in the village and enjoy the drink of the island, Lemoncello or its famous gelato.

Days 5

Private motorboat to the island of Ischia to stay at a lush garden hotel with hot springs. Visit the local markets, shop and relax.

Day 6

Tour the famous gardens. Next tour the castle that has survived numerous owners from kings to popes.

Day 7

Return to the Amalfi Coast and visit the classic villages of Positano and Amalfi with a final stop at Ravello to stay at the Villa Cimbrone. Gore Vidal describes the view as the "the most beautiful panorama in the world."

Day 8

Hike or walk in the hillside behind Ravello in the olive, lemon, and pine trees or have a private Italian cooking session.

Day 9

Return to Naples for flight back home.
